Rain a bit less than predicted; no serious flooding expected

PORT JERVIS NY – The Delaware River was more than ten feet below flood stage, as of 6:00 this morning, at the gauge near the Port Jervis / Matamoras bridge.  While more rain is likely today, it will not be as heavy as yesterday.

The gusty winds Saturday did cause scattered power outages.

As of 8 a.m., several scattered outages are reported this morning, throughout PPL’s service area in Monroe, Pike and Wayne counties.  The outages affect several hundred people.  MetEd reported two outages in Pike County and one in Wayne County
