BLAKESLEE – Police report the arrest, Christmas Eve, of a man following a confrontation with a woman who says she was bitten several times by the alleged assailant. 

Upon arrival, police found the 43-year-old victim with multiple bite wounds, including part of her lip missing.  The woman was taken to Pocono Medical Center.

Police then located James Harris II, 34, at his residence.  He was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault and harassment, and taken to the Monroe County jail. 

In an unrelated incident, police also investigated another report of a woman who was bitten on the lip, on Christmas day.  Police charged Christopher Stone, 31, of Mount Pocono, with simple assault and harassment.
