Man arrested after pointing weapon at women in traffic

EAST STROUDSBURG – Police still are not sure why an East Stroudsburg man jumped out of his car and allegedly pointed a gun at two women in another car that pulled up behind him at Braeside and Center streets, Thursday.  Police say according to the two women, Adam Booker got out of his car, retrieved the gun from the trunk then pointed it at them.

No shots were fired and no one was hurt.

Booker, 23, of 174 Lenox Ave is in the Monroe County jail in lieu of $10,000 bail, charged with terroristic threats, simple assault and reckless endangerment, stemming from the original incident.  Police also filed drug charges after searching his home and finding cocaine, prescription pills and pot.
