MIDDLE SMITHFIELD TWP – Police confirm one person died in in a cabin fire Sunday morning.  As of late Sunday, the name of the victim had not been released.  

The fire was reported about 2:15 a.m. at 124 Henlock Road.  Neighbors reported the cabin was fully involved at the time.  Firefighters from at least six area companies responded.

The body of an adult male was found about 6:30.

A state police fire marshal will investigate.  At this point, police say nothing appears suspicious.
