POCONOS – A week after Tropical Storm Irene put much of the Poconos in the dark, power has been restored.  Both Met Ed and PPL say they have completed the work of restoring power.

Both companies say, on their websites, that a total of fewer than ten customers in Monroe, Pike and Wayne counties currently do not have electricity.  That number would be about normal at any time.
