Monroe man pleads guilty to federal cocaine trafficking  

SCRANTON – A Monroe County man pleaded guilty in federal court to the charge of conspiracy to distribute crack cocaine and cocaine.

According to the United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania Jamal McKay, 37, of Tobyhanna, admitted to participating in a conspiracy to distribute crack cocaine and cocaine in the Monroe County area between June 2008 and September 2011.

McKay faces a maximum possible sentence of 40 years in prison and a fine of up to $2,000,000.
