Stroudsburg man charged with selling cocaine

MILFORD – The Pike County Drug Task Force arrested a Stroudsburg man for selling cocaine in the Lehman Township area.

Dwayne Wallace, 25, allegedly arranged four sales with confidential informant. On March 13, 2012, in Lehman Township, Wallace met with a confidential informant in the parking lot of a local business. Wallace then handed the confidential informant three grams of cocaine in exchanged for $400. On a second date, Wallace arranged to meet at another local business in Lehman Township. Wallace exchanged five grams of crack cocaine for $500. On the third date, Wallace exchanged five grams of crack cocaine for $500.  The final sale occurred when Wallace arranged to meet with a confidential informant and exchanged five grams of crack cocaine for $500.

Wallace was charged with four counts of delivery of a controlled substance, four counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, and one count of criminal use of a communication facility, all felonies, and four counts of possession of a controlled substance, all misdemeanors.  He is in committed to the Pike County Correctional Facility in lieu of $75,000 bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for June 19.
