High School student makes third donation to hospital

EAST STROUDSBURG – Notre Dame High School student William Mirams presented his third fundraising check in as many years to ease the financial burden of cancer patients. 

In a recent check presentation to the Pocono Health Foundation, the Mirams Family, donated $20,075 towards the Doreen Mirams Memorial Cancer Fund at the Hughes Cancer Center. The Doreen Mirams Memorial Cancer Fund, in memory of William’s grandmother, assists Hughes Cancer Center patients with non-medical financial needs during treatment. The monies donated are the result of an annual golf tournament and various fundraisers William and his family organized throughout the year.
