SOUPer Bowl benefits Pike County Hands of Hope

MILFORD - Pike County Hands of Hope thanks the Milford-Matamoras Knights of Columbus, John Paul II Council 13935 for sponsoring the fifth annual “SOUPer Bowl” recently to benefit those facing the hardships that come with homelessness.

Chef Al Helms and the chefs at the following Restaurants that provided gallons of delicious soup: Apple Valley Restaurant, Balch’s Fish Fry, Carini’s Cucina and Pizzeria, Edgewater at Best Western, Failte Irish Pub and Steakhouse, Fretta’s Italian Food Specialties, Goodfellas Pizza Italian Restaurant, Holy Crêpes, Hotel Fauchère, John’s of Arthur Avenue Restaurant and Pizzeria, Jorgenson’s at the Dimmick, Luna Rossa Restaurant/Pizzeria, Milford Diner, Naked Bagel Co. and Delicatessen, Perkins Family Restaurant, Peter’s Europa House, Pie’s On Italian American Family Restaurant, Ray-n-Charles Diner, Stewie’s Family Restaurant, The Grill, Two Rivers Grille, the Waterwheel Café, and to the many community members who purchased hundreds of quarts of soup.

The generous donation will help provide the basic and urgent needs of food, clothing, and shelter for the homeless and near homeless families of Pike County.
