Service station burglarized

DAMASCUS TWP – Police are looking for three suspects who forced their way into the Sohi service station on Hancock Highway north of Beach Lake early Friday morning.  Entry was through the main door, between 2:30 and 5:00 a.m.

A grinder apparently was used to cut into two ATM machines and remove about $3,000 cash.  Another $1,000 cash was taken from the service station itself along with more than 20 cartons of cigarettes.

The suspects fled toward Chicopee Trail, where it is believed a vehicle was waiting.

Anyone with information is asked to call Honesdale State Police at 570-254-7126.
