Pretrial motions Monday for Frein trial

MILFORD – The actual start of the trial of Eric Frein has been delayed one day, to Tuesday, April 4.  Monday has been set aside for pretrial motions.

Among the four motions to be considered on Monday is a request from the defendant to suppress statements he made after his capture on October 30, 2014.

Frein is accused of the ambush killing of State Police Corporal Eric Dickson and wounding of trooper Alex Douglass outside the Blooming Grove barracks.

He will be tried in Pike County Court before jury picked in Chester County.
