An investigation revealed that Gregorsky had left a nearby bar and was walking home.  Police later determined that April Porreca, 31, of Greentown, was driving the car that struck him.

Police say Porreca told them she did not stop because she thought she had hit a dead deer or bag of trash.

Porreca was charged with homicide by vehicle while DUI due to alcohol, homicide by vehicle, aggravated assault by vehicle, all felonies, and several misdemeanors and violations.  She is in the Wayne County Correctional Facility in lieu of $25,000 bail.
