Stroudsburg man gets long prison term for heroin trafficking

WILKES-BARRE - The United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania announced that James King, 49, of Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, was sentenced to 14 years in federal prison for trafficking heroin during September 2016.

King previously pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute heroin. He admitted to distributing between 60 and 80 grams of heroin (which equals approximately 2,000-3,000 retail bags of heroin).

King was indicted by a federal grand jury in October 2016.
