Stroudsburg man sentenced for failing to pay employment taxes

SCRANTON – A six-month jail term, followed by six months of house arrest, was ordered for Joseph Andershonis, 58, of Stroudsburg, for failing to pay his company’s employment taxes.  Andershonis was also ordered to pay $212,508 in restitution.

From the first quarter of 2010 to the last quarter of 2012, Andershonis failed to pay the employment taxes for his company, Just Very Affordable, Inc., which specializes in installing commercial kitchens.
