Driver faces several charges after crash

DAMASCUS TWP – A two-vehicle crash last Thursday caused injuries to both drivers, and a lot of charges for one of them.

Police say that shortly after 5 p.m. on Cochecton Turnpike, near Fox Run Drive, Jodi Peters, 52, of Tyler Hill, PA, was westbound on Route 371 when a car, driven by Michael Tesseyman, 22, of Callicoon, exited a driveway into the path of Peter’s car, which struck hers in the driver side.

Tesseyman was extracted and flown to a Scranton hospital.  Peters was taken by ambulance to a hospital in Honesdale.  The extent of the injures is not known.

Tesseyman is charged with a traffic violation, with driving while privileges are suspended and with operating a vehicle that was not registered, inspected or insured.  He also was using a plate from a different vehicle.
