Mount Airy bucks state trend with slot revenue

HARRISBURG - The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board reported for total gross revenue and tax revenue generated from the play of slot machines at casinos during July was down two percent statewide in July.

Mount Airy Casino Resort, in Monroe County, reported $14.1 million in July, up 5.7 percent from 13.9 million a year ago. 

Mohegan Sun Pocono, near Wilkes-Barre, was down 4.20%.  The Sands, in Bethlehem, fell 4.63%.
