Eclipse dazzles many in the Poconos

EAST STROUDSBURG – Some clouds moved in Monday afternoon, just as the eclipse was reaching its peak, but there were enough breaks for many to watch the celestial spectacular.

It was quite a show for students at East Stroudsburg University.

The eclipse reached about 75 percent totality.  You have just seven years before the next one, in 2024 and that one will be even better than this one.

At least one student appeared to have the NASA-certified eclipses goggles

For others, a projected image on a screen was a good way to view it
