Monroe County man sentenced on child porn charges

TUNKHANNOCK TWP – A man who admitted having graphic sexual images of children will spend at least 15 months in state prison.

James Lamie, 60, of Tunkhannock Township, was sentenced on Tuesday.  He pled guilty in May to several charges.

Between October 2016 and January 2017, detectives from the Monroe County Office of the District Attorney received numerous reports of James Lamie, 60, contacting underage girls on a website and then engaging in detailed and graphic conversations regarding sexual acts that he would like to perform on them.  The investigation eventually led to Lamie’s home on Spring Terrace in Long Pond where police found child pornography.
