No tax increase in proposed Pike County budget

MILFORD - The Pike County Commissioners unveiled the proposed 2018 budget. “There will be no tax increase for next year,” said Commissioner Matt Osterberg.

The total millage will remain the same at 19.74. Total balance at hand and receipts is proposed to be $40,047,255. Total expenditures is proposed to be $40,047,255 which is down from this year’s $43,262,270.

County debt service millage is up from 0.3 to 1.27 while county SRPC millage is down from 2.12 to 1.15 which helps balance the total millage to the proposed 19.74.
