Carbon County man killed in crash

WASHINGTON TWP – Police in Lehigh County report that a one-car crash claimed the life of the driver.

Robert Hefflinger, 79, died when his car left Mountain Road in Washington Township about 8:15 Thursday morning.

The death was ruled an accident.
