Man uses bomb threat to rob store

STROUD TWP – Police say shortly before 3:00 Sunday afternoon, a man entered the Sears Store in the Stroud Mall in Stroud Township and threatened to detonate a bomb unless he was given money. An employee emptied two cash registers and gave the money to the suspect, who left the store, threatening the employee again before leaving.

A day later, Andrew Rumolo, 26, of Stroudsburg, was arrested. He is charged with felony robbery and several misdemeanor charges  He is in the Monroe County Correctional Facility in lieu $100,000 bail pending further court proceedings.
