Police seeking help in identifying robbery/assault suspect

STROUD TWP - Stroud Area Regional Police is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a robbery suspect.

On Monday, March 20th, at approximately 8:00pm police responded to the Stroud Mall for a robbery/ assault call.  

At approximately 6:30pm the victim, a 20-year-old man, was walking in the lower parking deck of the mall when he was approached by two black males, assaulted and forced into his own vehicle at gun point. The suspects then drove his vehicle to a drive up ATM machine, forced the victim to provide his debit card and pin number, and withdrew cash from the victims account.

The victim was in and out of consciousness and awoke later, alone in his vehicle. He was treated at a local hospital.

Police are asking for assistance in identifying the robbery suspects (driver and rear seat passenger).
