Greentown man gets long sentence for fifth drug conviction |

HONESDALE - John Henneforth, Jr., 39, of Greentown, was sentenced in Wayne County Court to 21 to 42 months in a State Correctional Institution for one felony count of criminal use of a communication facility. The sentence falls in the aggravated range of the sentencing guidelines because Henneforth was on state parole in October 2017, when he committed the offense. District Attorney Patrick Robinson said, “Mr. Henneforth has been a drug dealer, on and off, in Wayne County for the past six years.” His latest sentence will be served in addition to Henneforth’s four prior drug convictions with a maximum release date of Aug. 28, 2022. “The best place for him is in a State Correctional Institution.” Robinson said. “I will oppose any future paroles or early releases for Mr. Henneforth.” The Wayne County Drug Task Force (WCDTF) conducted the investigation. |
