Monroe County man pleads guilty to heroin trafficking

SCRANTON – A Tobyhanna man pleaded guilty in federal court to conspiracy to distribute heroin and cocaine.  

Patrick Hynes, 21, admitted to participating in a conspiracy to distribute between 40 and 60 grams of heroin (which is equivalent to 1,600 to 2,400 individual doses of heroin), as well as additional quantities of cocaine, in the Monroe County area between May and July 2015.  Davis was one of eleven individuals indicted by a grand jury in July 2015, and charged with conspiring to distribute heroin and cocaine in the Monroe County area.

Sentencing will be scheduled at a later date.  Hynes could face up to 20 years in prison
