Pike County Court sentencing

MILFORD – The following criminal sentences were issued by Pike County Court of Common Pleas Judge Gregory Chelak:

Nicole Doerrie, 34, of Lake Ariel, PA, was sentenced to 1 year to 5 years in the Pike County Jail, to run concurrent to her Wayne County sentence, fined $2,700 and had her driver’s license suspended for a duration to be determined by PennDot for Driving Under the Influence and Driving While Operating Privileges Suspended or Revoked.  The state police observed Doerrie driving north in the southbound lane of SR 507 in Greene Township on June 25, 2017.  In making contact with Doerrie, the trooper observed her to have red, glossy, bloodshot eyes and detected the smell of an alcoholic beverage.  Doerrie admitted to drinking prior to driving.  Field Sobriety Tests were conducted which showed impairment and a blood test confirmed a blood alcohol content of .283%.  Doerrie was found to be driving on a suspended license.

Donald Dries, 42, of Dingmans Ferry, PA, was sentenced to 12 months of probation and fined $100 for Retail Theft.  Dries took merchandise with a total value of $150.17 from a retail store in Westfall Township on November 4, 2016, without paying for it.

Christian Caliente, 42, of Allentown, PA, was sentenced to 1 month to 12 months in the Pike County Jail and fined $600 for Criminal Trespass and Criminal Mischief.  Caliente drove his vehicle around a residence located in Dingman Township on May 14, 2018, causing $500 in damages to the landscape and then he proceeded to gain entry to the residence without the permission of the owner.

Joy Rivezzi, 48, of Greeley, PA, was sentenced to 6 months of the IP Pike Care Program which will include 30 days of house arrest, a fine of $750 and a driver’s license suspension of 12 months for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol.  The state police were dispatched to a business parking lot along SR 507 in Greene Township on October 18, 2017, for a domestic situation.  Upon arrival and making contact with Rivezzi, the trooper detected the smell of an alcoholic beverage. Rivezzi submitted to a preliminary breath test which showed the presence of alcohol and underwent Field Sobriety Tests which showed intoxication.  A blood test confirmed a blood alcohol content of .155%.

John Farro, 52, of Bushkill, PA, was sentenced to a $500 fine for Harassment.  The state police were dispatched to a residence in Lehman Township on January 2, 2017, for a domestic dispute where Farro harassed, annoyed, alarmed, shoved, struck and kicked an individual or threatened to do so.

Jason Daniels, 41, of Milford, PA, was sentenced to 4 months to 12 months in the Pike County Jail and fined $300 for Simple Assault.  During an argument at a residence in Dingman Township on March 26, 2015, Daniels head butted an individual causing injury.

Teresa Beers, 35, of Buskill, PA, was sentenced to a $200 fine for the Summary Offense of Harassment.  The state police were dispatched to a residence in Lehman Township on October 4, 2017, where during a domestic dispute, Beers pushed and grabbed an individual.
