Pike County Court sentences

MILFORD - Pike County Court of Common Pleas President Judge Gregory Chelak issued the following sentences:

Joseph Seguin, 29, of Milford, PA, was sentenced to 12 months to 36 months in a state correctional facility for Receiving Stolen Property and Unauthorized Use of an Automobile.  Seguin took a vehicle from a location in Westfall Township on July 31, 2016, without the owner’s permission, crashed it and abandoned it in New York state. 

Louis Feuer, 51, of Milford, PA, was sentenced to a $300 fine for the Summary Offense of Harassment.  The state police responded to a residence in Dingman Township on February 16, 2018, where Feuer threatened his tenant.

William Madera, 55, of Hazleton, PA, was sentenced to 72 hours to 6 months in the Pike County Jail, fined $1,000 and had his driver’s license suspended for 12 months for Driving Under the Influence.  The state police observed Madera’s vehicle drift over the fog line and into the shoulder of Route 402 and then observed him enter a parking area marked do not enter on April 13, 2018, in Blooming Grove Township.  Upon making contact with Madera, the trooper detected the smell of an alcoholic beverage.  Field Sobriety Tests showed impairment and a breath test confirmed a blood alcohol content of .182%.

Michael Fodi, 33, of East Stroudsburg, PA, was sentenced to 6 months of probation and fined $975 for Driving Under the Influence and the Summary Offenses of Registration and Certificate of Title Required, Operation Following Suspension Registration, Operation of Vehicle Without Official Certificate of Title and Required Financial Responsibility.  The state police responded to a gas station along Route 6 in Dingman Township on April 17, 2017, where Fodi was passed out in the driver’s seat of a vehicle parked at the pump for over an hour, with the vehicle running.  Fodi, who admitted to being a recovering Heroin addict, had constricted pupils.  A Field Sobriety Test showed Fodi to be impaired.  Fodi refused to submit to a blood test. 

Dustin Fouse, 22, of Milford, PA, was sentenced to 12 months of probation and fined $500 for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and the Summary Offense of Accident Involving Damage to Vehicle.  On August 8, 2016, the state police were dispatched to Nichecronk Road in Delaware Township where Fouse hit a utility pole which caught fire.  The trooper observed a bong, pipes and a grinder in plain view in Fouse’s vehicle.  Fouse was located at his residence where he admitted to the trooper that he lost control of his vehicle, hit the pole and departed the scene following evaluation by EMS.

Nekita Vandunk, 39, of Middletown, NY, was sentenced to 7 months to 14 months in the Pike County Jail and fined $500 for Criminal Conspiracy to Commit Retail Theft.  Vandunk served as a lookout for her co-defendant while she selected items valued at $162.92 to take without paying for on April 13, 2016, at a retail store in Westfall Township.

Anthony Fedele, 26, of Franklin, NJ, was sentenced to 3 years of probation and fined $500 for Theft by Deception.  Fedele sold counterfeit gold to an individual for $8,000 U.S. currency at a parking lot in Westfall Township on December 15, 2017, giving the individual the false impression that the gold was something of value.

Frank Carrozza, 21, of Dingmans Ferry, PA, was sentenced to 12 months of probation and fined $500 for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession with Intent to Use Drug Paraphernalia.  Milford Borough were alerted to Carrozza parked the wrong direction along West Ann Street on November 25, 2017.  In speaking with Carrozza, the officer detected the smell of Marihuana.  A search conducted of the vehicle revealed Marihuana, a scale and material for the packaging of Marihuana.
