Pike man pleads guilty to killing girlfriend

MILFORD – The man accused in the shocking murder of a 17-year-old girl more than two years ago and burying here body on a Milford Township llama farm accepted a plea deal that avoids life in prison.

Sky McDonough pled guilty to third degree murder in Pike County Court Thursday afternoon.  He now faces a maximum sentence of 40 years.

McDonough who was 26 at the time, admitted killing Leanna Walker, then 17.  McDonough buried Walker’s body on the Foster Hill Road farm where he once worked. 

At the time of the crime, investigators speculated that Walker was driven by jealousy, believing Walker was cheating on him.
