Another courthouse bomb threat

STROUDSBURG - Detectives from the Monroe County Office of the District Attorney, the Stroud Area Regional Police Department and the Pennsylvania State Police, are again requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the individual or individuals responsible for the recent spate of bomb threats towards the Monroe County courthouse and related locations.

At 11:25 a.m. Friday, November 2, 2018, a 911 call was placed from the area of the dam at Tobyhanna State Park in Coolbaugh Township.  The caller reported that there were five bombs placed in the Monroe County courthouse. After a thorough search, no actual bombs were located. 

This marks the seventh such bomb threat since May.
