Pike man sentenced to prison for child porn

MILFORD - A Dingmans Ferry man was sentenced to 4 years to 9 years in a state prison and fined $1,000 for 10 counts of Sexual Abuse of Children.  Matthew Michaels, 28, will have to register as a Tier 1 Sexual Offender.  Between October of 2017 and March of 2018, at his residence in Delaware Township, Michaels used a cell phone and on-line applications to download and transfer at least ten videos and images of child pornography depicting children engaged in sex acts with adults and other children.

Other criminal sentences issued by Pike County Court of Common Pleas President Judge Gregory Chelak:

Jeffrey Noble, 25, of Bushkill, PA, was sentenced to 19 days to 12 months in the Pike County Jail and fined $600 for Harassment and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. State police responded to Noble’s residence in Lehman Township on May 22, 2016, where Noble threatened or attempted to hurt two individuals.  While being processed for arrest, Noble was found in possession of Marihuana rolling papers.

Ibrahima Samba, 23, of Bushkill, PA, was sentenced to 6 months of probation and fined $500 for Harassment.  On November 23, 2018, Samba violated a court order by contacting an individual by phone and appearing at her residence, knowing that he was to have no contact with the individual.
