New addition to PennDOT District 5 team |

ALLENTOWN – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that Charles Enoch has been appointed Assistant District Executive for Maintenance for Engineering District 5, which includes Monroe, Carbon and four other counties. “Chuck’s many years of service at PennDOT will be an asset to the District 5 team,” District Executive Michael W. Rebert, P.E. said. “Chuck started as an equipment operator and has risen through the ranks of the organization to his current position, which shows with his vast knowledge of highway maintenance.” Enoch will direct a team of 547 employees who are responsible for the maintenance of all state-maintained roads and bridges in Berks, Carbon, Lehigh, Monroe, Northampton and Schuylkill counties. Enoch held the position of Senior Maintenance Manager for Lancaster County in Engineering District 8 since 1992. He also has served as Acting Assistant District Executive for Maintenance in Engineering District 8. He has been with PennDOT since 1974. |
