TOBYHANNA TOWNSHIP – A small girl pulled from Pocono Lake by lifeguards a week ago died from complications of the accident.  Juliette Harper, 5, of New York City, had remained in the hospital since the August 4 accident.

The girl disappeared under the water at the private beach, but was found, unresponsive, by ifeguards, a few minutes later.  Lifeguards were able to restore breathing, but complications set in and she died late Sunday night.

The death has been ruled accidental.
