TUNKHANNOCK TOWNHIP – Two people are reported dead in a two-vehicle crash on Route 115 near Long Pond Road.  Police identify the victims as the two drivers, Brooke Coronato, 30, of Scranton, dead at the scene and Nicholis Stamus, 37, of Easton was flown to Lehigh Valley Hospital but died shortly after arrival.

The accident reportedly happened about 9 p.m, and remains under investigation. At least one of the vehicles burst into flames. Both vehicles were severely mangled by the impact.

Route 115 was closed for several hours.
