COOLBAUGH TOWNSHIP – Police are investigating an attempted armed robbery Wednesday night at Pocono Farms East.  A family of three claimed they were robbed at gunpoint by three black males.

The family said they had seen the suspects earlier, driving past them as they were walking on Rob Roy.  The car stopped, the men got out, and announced a robbery, demanding money and cell phones.  The family told the suspects they had neither. 

The suspects fled when a young female member of the family began screaming.
