United Way announces allocations

MILFORD - The United Way Board of Directors is pleased to report that 21 local Pike County Human Service agencies will benefit from the generous donations to its 2007-08 fund raising Campaign.  Contributors supporting this campaign allowed UWPC to offer hope and support where it is needed most in our community. “The Pike County United Way takes its stewardship of your donation very seriously and minimizes its overhead and other costs so the vast majority of your donation goes to help the community.” said Christine Obser, United Way Board President.

Thanks to the 2007-08 campaign donations, UWPC was able to allocate $90,000 between the following agencies:

  • Tobacco Free Coalition,
  • ALS,
  • PCDC,
