MESHOPPEN TOWNSHIP – Two Honesdale women have been identified as the victims of a head-on crash on Route 6 in Wyoming County Wednesday afternoon.

Police say van driven by Dolores Parker, 76, apparently crossed the center line and hit a car head-on. Parker, and her sister, a passenger, Sylvia Parker, 73, both died.

Five people in the car, from the Mehoopany area, including three small children, were taken to the hospital with various injuries.
