POLK TOWNSHIP – Little is being said about the apparent accidental strangulation death of an 11-year-old girl, at the home of her grandmother. 

The incident happened sometime Thursday at the home on Hemlock Drive in Kunkletown.  Police spent several hours at the scene, but have said little. 

Unconfirmed reports say the girl may have been playing with a friend at the time.

The name of the girl has not officially been released.
