McCain in NEPA

WILKES-BARRE – Presumed Republican presidential nominee John McCain campaigns in northeast Pennsylvania this morning, but he is not scheduled to get close to the Poconos.

McCain arrived at the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre airport last night.  The arrival was low-key, with no speeches, or big crowds.

He is scheduled to appear at a town hall style meeting, at the Kirby Center, in Scranton, at 10:00 this morning.  Doors open at 8:00.  First come, first served.

The schedule also includes a $250 a plate fundraiser luncheon in Wilkes-Barre.
