Milford- The Pike County Correctional Facility has earned a Certificate of Compliance for the 2008 Inspection Cycle. The facility has 100% compliance which means it met all 25 standard criteria, a standard the Pike jail has met since 2003.

Tom Schlager from the Pa. Dept. of Corrections Office of County Inspections and Services said that only about one third of the 63 operating prisons in Pennsylvania received 100% compliance.

Warden Craig Lowe and his staff were recognized for their commitment to operating a facility that seeks and meets the challenge of standards compliance.
