SCRANTON – A Tobyhanna man will do federal time for a carjacking in Monroe County. Miguel Abreu, 21, was sentenced to almost four years in prison for his guilty plea to charges related to an incident last year. 

In February 2007, Abreu and five other men were charged with stealing an SUV from a man at a bar on Route 196.  A shot was fired at the victim. 

Abreu pled guilty to conspiracy.
