DELAWARE WATER GAP - The Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission today announced that a temporary off-peak lane closure is scheduled to take place in the eastbound direction on the Delaware Water Gap (I-80) Toll Bridge on Wednesday, July 30. The lane closure is scheduled to commence at 9 a.m. with the bridge fully reopened to traffic by 3 p.m.

The lane restriction is being imposed to accommodate contractors working on the bridge. Weather permitting, the single-lane closure will occur in the right lane in the eastbound direction.

Motorists are asked to reduce their speed and use caution as they travel through an active work zone.

An alternate route is the nearby Portland bridge, off Route 611.
