Manhunt continues for Milford fugitive

DINGMAN TOWNSHIP – Update: Police suspended the search for William Mullin late Wednesday afternoon.

William Mullin, of Milford was still on the loose at midday Wednesday, the object of a massive manhunt involving a multitude of law enforcement agencies from three states.

Mullin, 25, allegedly stole a car in Milford, drove to New York, rammed a New York State Police cruiser during a pursuit, then headed back to the Milford area via Montague, NJ, ultimately crashing his car along SR 2001 late Tuesday night. 

St. Pol Cprl Brian Veenie told PoconoNews.Net that Mullin is still believed in the area and was spotted by a Sheriff deputy Wednesday morning, walking along 2001.  He fled back into the woods.

The search continues on the ground, with several law enforcement agencies, K9 units, and helicopters. 

Mullin is known to police, and is wanted by the Pike County Probation Department.  His criminal record includes several drug crimes, including possession with intent to deliver.  He also has multiple driving violations, incluing twice being charged with driving on a suspended license

Mullin is described as short, medium build with dark hair.  He was wearing black pants with a gold and yellow shirt.  He may be covered with mud.
